This is the second Bleach episode titled "A Shinigami's Work!," where the results of the previous episode are contemplated as a dream, as no one but Ichigo remembers what happened.
Ichigo goes to school the next morning to see Rukia Kuchiki- as a new student in his school! The storyline continues from there, where Ichigo takes on a new job in his highschool career.
